Paints for Lanterns Ecoline bottles 490 ml. Talens Ecoline is a ready-to-use liquid watercolor, easy to apply. It offers vibrant colors with excellent transparency. Ideal for painting Basel Carnival lanterns. Apply to lantern fabric primed with gelatin using a soft brush or airbrush. Deeper colors are achieved by "back-painting" (painting both sides of the fabric). Always paint on the inside of the lantern! It only becomes waterproof after being varnished with lantern varnish.
