Description
These transparent, pasty gels give the paint more body and volume. They are used either neat, mixed with acrylic paints, or applied to acrylic paints to achieve different textures and gloss levels. Impasto Gels are flexible, do not crack even in thick layers, and have good adhesion. Depending on the amount of Impasto Gel 1 gloss added, the colors become more brilliant, transparent, and glossier. Impasto Gel 2 matte is applied in the same way, although the gloss and transparency of the mixtures decrease with increasing matte levels of the Impasto Gel.
